On 18th November 2025 Shishu Shorgho presented a powerpoint presentation on ”Shishi Shorgho Orphanage Project” at a monthly NGO coordination meeting organised by district commissioner office of Chittagong presided over by Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mian the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Chittagong . Mosammat Jasmin Ara, coordinator of Shishu Shorgho, led the presentation. She said that the organization has been operating continuously it activities since 2002. She also added that currently 250 children and women are direct beneficiaries of the organization. The organization’s main activity is the Children Home. Besides the Orphanage Home, ”Shishu Shorgho” also runs a free school and free Health center for children and women. This school is an exceptional school where two methods are followed for giving lessons. One in Montessori Method which is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collective play method. She also added that more than 50 children graduated from this organization and are working in prestigious institutions all over the country.
Joint secretary of Shishu Shorgho executive committee Adv Nurul Islam, Assistant Manager Mohammad Forhad Hossain and Accout’s officer Rezaul korim were present at the meeting.
