Shishu Shorgho started its activities in 2002.Fred and Bonnie Cappuccino are the main founders of the organization. The couple helped children during the post-independence war of Bangladesh. From then on the couple started thinking of doing something for the neglected underprivileged destitute and poor children of Bangladesh. Mr. Gius Uddin Salim a Bangladesh business man in Canada came forward to put this idea into practice in collaboration with them. Shishu Shorgho “Shishu Sadan” is a non-profit organization that was established with the goal of providing food, shelter, treatment, medicine and education to the orphans and destitute children of the our society. We have been working for the welfare and progress of the underprivileged children. Our organization works in various fields such as health care, education, training, career development and social awareness program. We believe in human values and humanity for all.

We are working at the grassroots level. The organization has over 20 years of experience in the field of social welfare. We have been running several projects since our inception. We are working with the sole purpose of helping the orphans to get a better tomorrow.

We help each orphan develop new skills tailored to their own needs and interests. We also provide educational support in the form of tutoring and other resources.

We believe that children are the future leaders of a country. We believe that every child is unique and talented in his/her own way and we want to give them an opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
