The organisation’s main activities are the management of children’s home for orphans and destitute children. Besides the Orphanage home, “Shishu Shorgho ” has four supporting programs. Shishu Shorgho Mother and Child Health Program is one of them. Under this program, one allopathic, and one homoeopathic doctor including a doctor assistant provide free treatment for home children and poor destitute neighbours.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our allopathic service was temporarily off. From 5 May 2024, two renowned doctors join our health program. Shishu Shorgho Board Secretary Syed Mohammed Morshed Hossain inaugurated this program. Board Members Shahidul Islam, Nurul Amin and Abdullah Harun and Project Manager Jasmin Ara were present on that occasion. Allopathic doctors serve every Saturday from 04 PM to 06 PM and homoeopathic doctors serve every Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
