Chairman of Shishu Shorgho Gias Salim Uddin attended a Divisional Policy Dialogue with NGO Representatives and Field Administration on the ISPAT project organized by the NGO Bureau Affairs Office, UNDP and Australia Aid on 10th November 2014. Md. Saidur Rahman, Director General ( Grade -1) NGO Affairs Bureau, Chief Advisor Office, was the chair of that program. Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Md. Tofael Islam and ADC Chattogram Md. Kamruzzaman were present on that occasion.
In collaboration with the Australian High Commission in Bangladesh (DFAT) and UNDP, the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) is implementing the ISPAT project. The project will run from January 2024 to June 2027 and aims to improve enhanced services to NGOs. The objective of this project is to equip NGOAB to efficiently manage foreign donations and support NGOs in achieving Bangladesh’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.
In an open discussion session, Forhad Hossain, Assistant Manager of Shishu Shorgo, urged the authority to smooth the visa processing of international donors at AirPort. Later, Gias Uddin Salim, the chairman of Shishu Shorgho, informs the chief guest, Saidur Rahamn Sir (DG NGOAB), about the project details of Shishu Shorgho.
