14th April is the Bengali new year. Shishu Shorgho celebrated this day with proper tradition. Secretary of Shishu Board Syed Morshed Hossen and Vice president Nurul Amin were the special guests of the program. This day marks the beginning of hope, color, tradition, and fresh starts. Children of Shishu Shorgho painted the home courtyard with traditional designs and special dishes were cooked. Shishu Shorgho Montessori School arranged a beautiful cultural program.Children performed dances and recited poems which depicted bengali culture and tradition. Tribal children of Shishu Shorgho home performed native cultural dances. All of the children wear traditional bengali dresses.
