On Tuesday, 22 September 2026, a reception and cultural programme was organized by the voluntary organization Shishu Shorgho to honor the students who achieved outstanding results in the 2026 SSC Examination. The programme was presided over by Mr. Syed Md. Morshed Hossain, General Secretary of Shishu Shorgho.
The Chief Guest was Mohammad Omar Faruk, Deputy Director of the Chattogram District Social Services Office. He presented crests to the meritorious students and extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to them for their excellent academic achievements.
The programme was also attended by Dr. Mir Abu Saleh Shamsuddin, Teacher-Trainer, Government Teachers’ Training College, Chattogram, as a Special Guest. In his speech, he encouraged the students to develop not only academic excellence but also strong moral values and humanitarian qualities, so that they could grow into capable, responsible, and ideal citizens.
Another Special Guest was Robin Cappuccino, International Director of Child Haven International, the organization supporting Shishu Shorgho.
In his presidential address, Mr. Syed Md. Morshed Hossain, General Secretary of Shishu Shorgho, briefly highlighted the organization’s ongoing activities and future plans.
Among others present at the programme were Advocate Nurul Islam, Vice Chairman Nurul Amin, and Treasurer Shahidul Islam. Also in attendance were Coordinator Jesmin Ara, Assistant Manager Farhad Hossain, Accounts Officer Rezaul Karim, and Programme Officer Yakub Ali Sujon of Shishu Shorgho.
The programme featured the reception of the meritorious students, presentation of crests, and an entertaining cultural performance, creating a joyful, festive, and memorable atmosphere for the students, guests, staff, and all those present.
