Every year Shishu Shorgho arranges tree plantation programs as well as participates in different tree plantation programs organized by government and non-government organizations. This year Shishu Shorgho has participated in Tree Plantation Program 2023 inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman on 10th June at DC park. DC Chottogram said that as per the instruction of the Prime Minister, these extensive programs have been undertaken in Chittagong to celebrate Tree Plantation Week. He also said that at the District Administration Meeting, it was decided to plant 23 Lakh 71 thousand trees at least 10 thousand in all unions of every upazila in Chittagong.
Following the instruction of the DC office Chottogram, Shishu Shorgho has planted 130 (one hundred thirty) trees in the Marine Drive area of Barani Ghat, Chottogram. Shishu Shorgho also decided to plant 200 more trees during this season.
